About Annie.

Annie Hastwell from Make Me Move will create a program that combines key actions
that lead to a healthier, more active, less stressed and more comfortable life.

I love to move, I love food, I love people, I love life!

I believe in giving you the movements, exercise, breathing and restorative techniques and food knowledge that will meet your needs right now. My purpose is to guide and support you in achieving your health goals and your fitness goals, as you enjoy every move along the path to well being and vital living.

Qualifications

I am a qualified Certificate 3 Gym Instructor and Certificate 4 Personal Trainer, having trained through TAFE and the Australian Institute of Fitness. I am a member of Fitness Australia and am constantly upgrading my skills and knowledge in the industry. I am a certified Bones For Life Trainer and certified Food Coach with the Food Coach Institute of Australia. I also have accreditation as a Heart Moves Leader and am currently  training participants in a CSIRO Diabetic Study.

My Background

I am a trained teacher and am experienced in catering and teaching cooking classes. I am passionate about good food that is the foundation for health, vitality, and weight management. I’m experienced in food coaching, personal training and circuit fitness, and stretch, restorative and Bones For Life classes.

My Passions

Family, friends, fun, food, nature, vitality and being in the moment. I love to feel vital and strong, calm and content, and my passion is to help others achieve this way of enjoying life too. My clients inspire me. It is their strength, bravery, perseverance, dedication and laughter that give me purpose.

How I like to move

I love to hike for miles and miles surrounded by nature. There is always something new to see, smell, feel and be surprised by. I have walked the Camino De Santiago – 800km of Spanish heaven. I love cycling and have ridden twice in the public day of the Tour Down Under. Groove class once a week is where I can dance and move with freedom and absolute fun. Yoga and Bones For Life are my balancing activities that ground and centre me.

Music

I love a good beat to move to, reggae to cook to, world music and cafe chill to relax to … and Leonard Cohen and I go back a long way!

Individual or small group sessions are available at a small studio gym or in your home or workplace, space permitting.

Accredited as a Heartmoves trainer by the Heart Foundation, I can create a program for those with managed cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

You will have support as you gently move toward
a healthier way of eating that is right for you.

Together we will address your specific needs, whether they are food addictions, weight loss, needing to learn what to cook, where to shop or how to prepare foods. Healthy food will be demystified and recipes provided.

Are you in pain or just want to improve the efficiency in how you move?

Bones for Life Movement Intelligence helps support bone strength, well aligned posture and flexibility for functional day-to-day activities and solutions to musculoskeletal dysfunction.

Classes benefit everyone, including athletes, dancers, yogis, gym enthusiasts, those with balance problems, chronic pain and low bone density.
